Frequently Asked Questions

	*How often is the stock status updated on the web ?*
	Every week day before 9 AM eastern time unless nothing comes in or goes out of stock. Generally when things are out of stock they are marked as backordered and the date we expect to have them in stock is displayed. Ordering when something is marked as backorder ensures that you get your order as soon as it is back in stock.

	*How do you calculate the number of gallons of water in a pond or basement ?*
	Length in feet x width in feet x depth in feet x 7.5 e.g. 4' long, 5' wide, 2' deep is 4 x 5 x 2 x 7.5 = 300 gallons.

	*With the multiquip pumps, can hoses be joined together to create a longer hose ?*
	Yes. Quick disconnect hoses can be joined to other quick disconnect hoses. Standard disconnect hoses can be joined top other standard disconnect hoses. A quick disconnect hose cannote however be joined to a standard disconnect hose.

	*Are all 1/2 HP pumps as good as each other in terms of emptying my basement sump ?*
	No. But don't think in terms of Horse power. Calculate the Gallons per minute that you need the pump to be.
