Single float that is used to turn the pump on and off as the water level rises and falls.
Ideal for use when the water level lies in a fairly tight range.
The power cable for the pump "piggy backs" (plugs) into the back of the power cable for the float switch (like your christmas tree light plugs). This way the float switch controls when the pump gets its power.

Dual float configuration provides the greatest flexibility in pump switching. One float triggers the pump to turn on and the other float triggers it to turn off. The flexibility is greater than a single float application as dual floats can be used over a wider range of water levels.

Use with any 115V model Multiquip submersible pump - this control box replaces the need for the SW1A float switch.
Recommended for either of two applications:
1. Where the pump is located a long way from the power source.
2. When you want to automate a pump with a float switch but you expect a large volume of water on a fairly regular basis.
When you connect an electric pump to an ordinary extension cord, the resulting voltage drop causes damage to the motor in the pump. This control box has electronics inside that resolves that problem and maintains a healthy life-span for the pump.
