This sump pump can handle solids up to 3/8 inch in size and has a maximum head (lift height from pump to discharge area) of 18 feet. It has a polycarbonate cover and a polypropylene volute/base.

It features a reliable diaphragm switch that allows for "ON level" between 7 and 10 inches and "OFF level" between 1 and 4 inches. The diaphragm switch is an upgrade from the old snap-action float switch fitted to the lower end Snappy John sump pump.
