This Little Giant PES-130-PW fountain pump uses a magnetic drive design that utilizes an epoxy-encapsulated motor and plastic housing. A permanent magnet is attached to the impeller that acts as the rotor would in a conventional motor.
The pump is seal-less and oil-less making it a perfect choice for continuous operation in statuary fountains.
It has a built in flow control valve so you can slow down the amount of water being pumped if you want it to run more slowly.
The pump comes with 3 barbed discharge connectors (1/4 inch, 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch sizes). The barbed end is for your discharge hose/pipe, the other end screws into the pump. They can be interchanged by unscrewing the one that's fitted and replacing it with the size you need.
